I'm not on a time table for my books, so I don't rush. Driving and music usually help me. I listen to music to help me write a scene. If I'm blocked, I search for a song that fits the scene I want to create and it usually comes. If all else fails, I dance to relieve the stress, and to get past the block.

The best thing for me is meeting other talented authors, photographers, designers, models who are helpful and supportive. In a short time, I met people who want to help and inspire me to want to help other people.

Don't give up. It might take a month, it might take years. Once you complete your WIP, be proud of yourself. It's a big accomplishment.

Truthfully, it came out of nowhere. If you would have asked me a year ago if I was going to write a book, I would have laughed. When I started writing, all the Indie authors books inspired me. Such wonderful books, by people just like me. My husband encouraged me to keep going.

I have four WIP. Finding Home is in a series of four books. I'm working on the remaining three books simultaneously. The other book I'm working on is a standalone.

My book started from a dream I had. One that I didn't want to wake up from. Some of the content came from moments in my life. Pages from my diary.
