Hi Aleesha,
Speak of the devil. I'm putting the finishing touches on the publishing house's edits right now. I'm hoping for an October publication for the second book :). Thank you for dropping a line. It really means a lot to me. I enjoyed meeting you and hope to visit another Boskone in the future. Take care and if you want up-to-date news, please join my author mailing list: https://eardell.com/mailing-list/.

Lol, it wouldn't be a mystery, aside from the fact that I'll always wonder why I went to this party when the description of it sounds like a horror movie waiting to happen. However, I know good and well, I would never change the fact that I went. When I was in college, I went to a frat party out in the deep dark woods around Waco, Texas. (Yes, the place where there used to be a huge cult, Branch Davidian, and were still people kind of hanging around out at the compound.) Get this, it was a Halloween costume party too, so we were all dressed up, three black girls in a little car driving to a place we'd never been. All we see are woods and black sky. There are no other cars, the road is creepy, we hear no music. We pull up to this old house and there are a lot of people dressed in costumes that feature leaves and body paint and not much else. One girl was dressed as Eve... we never did see Adam. They greet us with strange red drinks out of paper cups and invite us in...
Needless to say it was a great night, but you have to admit, the perfect setting for a traditional teen cult classic horror story. Either a slasher film, or a creepy fairy tale sacrifice film with a troll-like creature coming out to grab us.

Thank you! I'm not sure what's up with the formatting, lol. I'll have to go take a look and let the publisher know.
I'm glad you enjoyed the book. I'm working on finishing up Book 2, The Third Gambit, so it can be released on time next year. I hope you decide to stick with the series, because I think The Third Gambit is going to be better than The Fourth Piece.
Take care and I'd love to hear from you again!

Hi Domoni! I'm so glad you liked it. I swear the story is like my child and you are like a teacher telling me he was well-behaved and attentive in class. I hope for the second story, The Third Gambit, to be out next year around the same time The Fourth Piece came out, if not a little sooner. I will keep you updated, especially if you would like an ARC. :D
Thank you for your great review!
