There really aren't any mysteries in my life that haven't been answered. I mean, sure, there probably is one, but it's nothing that comes off the top of my head.

I'd have to say Drizzt and Cattie-Brie from Forgotten Realms novels by R.A. Salvatore. They are what every relationship should be: understanding, non-judgmental, caring, loving, and under almost all circumstances, have each other's backs.

I think the best thing about being a writer is being able to write and release on my own schedule. No one's forcing me to write, I have no deadlines other than self-imposed. It's actually kinda ideal.

Hmm...this is a hard one. I try to write as often as I can. If nothing comes to mind, I just let it be until something does come to mind. I also stopped putting off when my brain decides to just start rambling off paragraphs, even in the middle of homework, because if I do, writer's block happens. I did get stuck for about 2 months with "How to be an Adult", but the words finally came on their own. the best advice I can give is don't force it.

Honestly, it just sort of starts flowing in my head. I started with "How to be an Adult" and it just kinda went from there, all by itself. My brain sometimes starts going with some great material, distracting me from the mounds of homework I currently have, but I've decided to let the distractions come and interrupt as they will. If I don't I'll get serious writer's block because they'll decide to hole up in some dark corner of my brain until I'm wide awake at 3am but don't feel like writing. :)

The next book in The Adulting Series is Surviving College in Your Mid-30s. I'll be releasing 1 book per semester because classes and people change, as well as lessons learned. Plus, I'm sure I'll have more amusement to share as each semester unfolds.

Friends have mentioned that there's no "handbook" for being an adult. That made me decide to compile experience and situations into "How to be an Adult".

My best advice is to just keep writing. Take even 15 minutes per day to write. It will all come together when it's ready. Don't force it. Also, make your you triple check your manuscript before submitting to KDP, CreateSpace, or wherever you'll be selling your book.
