That's a TOUGH question because I feel like I fall in love with every couple a little bit and remember something about each and every one going back to the first couple in A Rose In Winter all the way up to the last book I read. I love them all! One that especially comes to mind though is Cindy Gerard's couple in Whisper No Lies. Johnny Duane Reed and Crystal Debrowski...I still remember the line "I'm not interested in the care and feeding of Johnny Duane Reed!" and I haven't read that book in a few years.

Ideas come from everywhere, for Hiding In Plain Sight I had the tiniest sliver of an idea for Kierra's character--a woman taking martial arts classes to regain her shredded confidence, from there I created the back story and the whole town of Briarview.

Writer's block is the writer's worst enemy. I've had success by writing a scene that's outside the story, so the same characters but years before, or years after, or just a scene that wouldn't be included in the story. Sometimes I learn something about the characters that helps me get back on track, others it just reignites my love for the characters so I can finish their story.
