John Byron Hey Allison

Your timing is very coincidental, considering that I am just moving into marketing prep for my latest novel entitled, Blood and Moonlight. B and M is a complete rewrite (or reimagining) of Frankenstein, with an abundance of the actual historical happenings that surrounded the Genisys of the original writing/story.

Check out www.concretesalad.com for more info on Blood and Moonlight.

I should note that most (if not all) of my stories do take place in the same universe. In Mr. Mann, Abby talks about "The Fall," and how some of his ilk/brethren chose to not fall all the way.

One of those fallen was Levi, and in my next novel entitled, The Fanatic, we will have Levi front and center. Currently, he is in a couple of chapters in B and M.

Apologies for the winding path to the answer to your query, but I wanted you to understand the mechanics of the universe I write within, heh.

In short, no. There will not be a sequel per se', but we will be seeing quite a bit of Marten, (as well as Shepherd) in The Fanatic, which I will be working on full time in the coming months.

Does that answer your question?

Thanks!
JB
John Byron A fifty cent piece. There are two sides to every coin, but most people only bother themselves with one of them. I wanted to imagine both sides of the story of heaven and hell, and when I was looking at that coin (while enmeshed in a theological debate, mind you) that's kind of where it started.
John Byron A writer can get a lot of mileage from their respective store of self loathing.
John Byron Without going into too much detail... It is a complete reimagining of Frankenstein that begins with the childhood of the owner of that socalled abnormal brain.
John Byron Write. Don't be that guy or gal who is constantly saying, "I want to write a book". Just write.
John Byron Producing rich, thought provoking characters who, for a while... As as real as you and I are.
John Byron Write anyway. You might delete it later, or edit the living sh*t out of it. Hell... You might even delete it later, but just try to get something down. Now... That being said, I do go through phases of ingest and expel as I call it. Which translates to consuming(playing a video game, surfing the web, watching TV etc) or producing(writing, working on music projects, game delevopement etc). If I can wrangle my psyche enough to know when I am in one phase or the other, it is helpful beyond measure, because at the very least I can throw myself headlong into that phase and not get frustrated as much.
