HA! I've always written. It never seemed critical that I finish anything, really, just something I'd try eventually, as a retirement gig. But then a friend sent me a manuscript and let me in on a new upstart publisher, and my daughter, who was very nearly finished with her manuscript got inspired to submit hers, and once she did...well, we all just caught fire. It was like, suddenly, this was possible. It was real. And now, here we are, neck deep!! :D
