Kay Gardner non-romantic: crowley and aziraphale from "good omens." their friendship is against every odd (which is possibly why it works) and eons old, with a dynamic chemistry that can only stem from comfortable familiarity. they work on opposite sides, but together, for the great ineffable plan. and they're just darn funny :)

romantic: percy and marguerite blakeney from "the scarlet pimpernel." classic. just classic. they love each other passionately and completely, even when they think they can't or shouldn't. of course, the happy ending prevails and their love reaffirms, all while they dodge the guillotine, a firing squad, and the villain.

runners-up: blackthorne and mariko from "shogun." benedick and beatrice from "much ado about nothing." korben and leeloo from "the fifth element."
Kay Gardner i let it have its way for a day, then i make myself write something - anything. once the words start appearing on the screen, they tend to take off and flow of their own volition.
Kay Gardner when someone sees or feels something because of what i've written. that's fantastic :)
Kay Gardner just do it. had an author tell me years ago that if i write in order to get rich, i'm writing for the wrong reason. write because you have to, and keep writing. and try not to let rejection letters get you down.. people who don't try don't get 'em, so you're ahead of the game ;)
Kay Gardner i have two projects in the works: an illustrated poetry collection, and a memoir. and i'm considering a second book of haiku.
Kay Gardner oh, from almost anything. could be something i see driving to work, or something i read, or even someone's off-hand comment. i concentrate on poetry, so nearly everything is potential inspiration.
Kay Gardner actually, a friend nudged me into it. i'd been writing and posting haiku to my fb page for months, and in discussing something else, he suggested i hurry up and publish my haiku book. so i did!
