Write the books you want to read, and do it for yourself first. Don't worry about how your book will be received. Don't think about the reactions people will have, because that will stall your creative process. Write from the heart, and keep writing—you can always go back and edit it later.

My main strategies for overcoming writer's block include digging into what's *really* going on with the writer's block, getting back in touch with my reason for writing in the first place, changing the environment around me, and going outside for a long walk.
