You've come a long way since you first published The Du Lac Chronicles - if you could go back and give yourself some advice what would it be?

Mary Anne Yarde Good question and also an incredibly difficult one to answer. I have actually really enjoyed this last year and I have learnt so many new things. I don't think I would want to go back and give myself any advice! I am quite happy with how things turned out!

When will the next book in the Du Lac chronicles be released? I can't wait to read it!

Mary Anne Yarde Hi KittyKat, I am so glad you enjoyed The Du Lac Chronicles and thank you for your lovely review.

The Du Lac Devil is due for release in the latter part of this year and this time, it is Merton that takes centre stage!! In the meantime, you can check out the short novella, The Pitchfork Rebellion ~ where you can journey with Alden back to Cerniw and find out what happens after they take back the kingdom from Wessex.

How do you juggle daily life and family with your writing?

Mary Anne Yarde I don't believe in sleep! Joking aside, I dedicated a portion of the day to my writing.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Mary Anne Yarde I love everything Arthurian, but I never liked the way the stories of Arthur and his knights came to such an abrupt end -- Arthur is injured in battle and is taken to Avalon never to be heard of again, and his knights are either dead or become hermits! -- I wanted to continue the story on into the next generation and keep the adventure alive!

How do you get inspired to write?

Mary Anne Yarde I usually put on some inspirational music - this music varies depending on what I am going to write about and then I get into the zone!
