My advice for aspiring writers is: Write everyday and read often. Feel free to let your imagination take you to unusual places. Create and recreate when your creation doesn't work for you. Revise and edit much because there are always improvements to be made. Don't be afraid to take the first step. Share your stories with others and listen to their constructive feedback. Ignore hurtful criticism and don't give up because someone else tells you that you don't have what it takes. Dare to dream the impossible because nothing is impossible with God. Delight yourselves in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4).

There are so many wonderful things about being a writer. One is the freedom to put your thoughts on paper whether they make sense or not. You can always toss it and start again when you return to sanity. Another great thing is being able to reach new heights and experience new adventures through the lives of your characters. Things that you would never do because of dangers or risks can be explored. I also love to see new places and worlds through my writing. I may never travel the world, but I have been to swamps, forests, mountains, deserts, oceans, and more in my novels. However, the best thing about being a writer is when someone tells me their reaction to something that I did to a character whether good or bad (though it is usually the bad that I am scolded for). I love to see or hear how my readers feel about the stories that have captured their hearts. That's when I know that I am a true writer!

It is said that writer's block is when your imaginary friends won't talk to you. That is so true. One minute you are full of ideas and the next you have nothing. To deal with writer's block, I usually put the work aside for a couple of days and focus on other aspects of my life whether it is family, work, church, etc. Most of the time an idea will suddenly pop into my head and I can start writing again.

Currently, I am working on editing my second book Return to Glory with the hope that it would be ready for publication by this summer. I have actually written two other books for my series The Glory Chronicles, but they are not in the publication process yet. I am also currently writing my fifth book for the series.

All of my inspiration comes from God. I am a Christian and He is my Guide whenever I write. There are things that He has brought to my mind when I am writing that I would never have thought possible in my novels. God is so awesome!

I have always loved fantasy like The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Harry Potter so it is no surprise that I chose it as my writing genre. I love the thought of strange creatures and magical events.
