I don't really believe in inspiration, in the sense that a Muse appears and grants you a marvelous idea. I just like writing. And I need to do it. So I do it.
And I try to do it everyday, even if it's a single word. Jim Butcher once said "Write everyday, even if it's just a single word, because that will get you that much closer to finishing your work".

I'm from the "Brandon Sanderson School of Thought", so I don't believe in writer's block.
I think "writer's block" is just a lame excuse for not writing. I mean, you're a professional, or at least an aspiring one, so you should be writing. I've never seen a driver saying "I have driver's block, so I won't be able to work today".
