I find time in my busy schedule (I still work full-time) and I am at a loose end.

My current novel has the working title No Going Back.
Amongst other themes it examines how people and situations move forwards and like is as not we cannot go back. We gain, we lose and we have to deal with the new status quo.

Having printed paper copies of my books on my bookshelf and knowing others have enjoyed them.

I tend to take a break, a coffee, some exercise and move to a different writing task that uses another part of my imagination.
For me writers block manifests itself because of external influences that can leave me unable to think creatively. Sometimes the only solution is to walk away and solve the external issue, first.
Also never stray too far from a notebook...
