I used to write hand-written drafts, but with how bad my handwriting is, I quickly learned that wasn't the best idea for me. Now, and for several years now, I write entirely on my computer. Primarily with Microsoft Word, but I've had to use Google Docs a couple of times as a stand-in.

Over time, your characters start to get away from you. You're not so much writing them as they're reacting to the situations in which you've put them. It's just wonderful to look at these characters that you started and see how they grow and react to the world around them.

If you have a story in your head, write it down. It doesn't matter if you get it published or just hang onto it for yourself. Having that completed story down is the best feeling in the world.

Well, book two of the Kasigah series is in the works. It's all finished; I just need to go over some of the proofing and such with my publisher.
