Lee Hall My most recent one is On Their Own Terms: Animal Liberation - the one with the wolves on the cover. Well, for one thing, I read a book chapter by Catharine MacKinnon called "Of Mice and Men: A Fragment on Animal Rights" and it raised some questions to take on, and even presented the inspiration for my book title.
Lee Hall Writing (not just churning out "content" but really writing) defies social pressure. It means we're here not to be used, but to express ourselves, to take a stand. It's a kind of freedom, a luxury to many in global society, often as nourishing to the soul as being in nature.
Lee Hall I write non-fiction so far so that's really not an issue but as for getting in the frame of mind to write and thinking about the writing, going for a run always helps.
