Anne Dennish My newest book coming out in January of 2018 is called "My Collective Soul: Things I Know Without Knowing Why." The idea came from a collection of short stories I had been writing on my life and the experiences I've had based on my intuition and spiritual beliefs. It's a collection of stories that I share to help each reader live their life for their Highest Good.
Anne Dennish My inspirations first and foremost comes from my own personal experiences in life and the lessons I've learned. It comes from all the people I meet along my journey and through all that the world places in front of me. I find inspiration in music, in literature, at the beach, under the moon and stars and watching a sunrise. It comes from friends, family and my children. My inspiration is born from an acute awareness I have in watching the world and the people in it.
Anne Dennish I am currently working on a cookbook called "Can You Taste The Love?" It's filled with family recipes and the intimate and personal stories which come with each one. I'm also working on my steamy chic novel called "The Mind of a Heart." I have a series of childrens books called "The Adventures of Geraldine and Scooter," and am constantly coming up with new ideas for other books.
Anne Dennish My advice would be to tell you to never give up on writing, especially if you love it. Don't let go of a dream to be a writer because it's who you are, and no one should tell you to be anything less. Believe in yourself and what you write. Believe in you dream and never let it go. Believe that all you want to be as a writer will come to you as it should, when it should, and how it should.
Anne Dennish The best thing about being a writer is that I can express my most innermost feelings and share personal and intimate details of my life. I like that my life is an "open book," and that through my writing I'm able to reach people; I can change a perspective, give someone a laugh, or simply let them know that they're not alone. Writing allows you the freedom to write your life the way you want through truth and through creative license in a novel. It's the perfect world when you're a writer. At least for me it is. It's my passion.
Anne Dennish The best way to deal with writer's block is to take a break and walk away from what you're working on. I have found that if I continue writing through what I consider a "block," I'm not happy with what I've written, so throughout the years I've learned to simply walk away, not stress about it, and try to find other things in my life to fill the time away from writing; and truth be told, some of my best ideas come from a writer's block because I'm experiencing life and all it offers outside of writing.
