My advice for aspiring writers is that write a story how you want to write it. Don't write it to appeal others, write what is in your imagination. No matter how cliche that sounds. Let your imagination run wild!

I am currently working on my science fiction, dytopian trilogy called Reverse Kingdom. This trilogy will be my first time delving into science fiction and making a female heroine that women can relate to.

I was inspired to write stories since I was a child. Reading books like the Baby sitter's Club, Goosebumps, Carrie by Stephen King, Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles etc. I also had a love for literature so basically...yes that's what inspired me to write. :)

I first got the idea for my recent novel from hearing about these folklore stories from my mother who is from Trinidad & Tobago. Since there wasn't many novels and stories about this type of vampire, I wanted to write about them and give them life.
