I want to read Echoes of Family by Barbara Claypole White, Rightfully Ours by Carolyn Astfalk, I Liked My Life by Abby Fabiaschi, Turning Life into Fiction by Robin Hemley, plus other books to learn how to write fiction.

It took me a bit to choose my favorite, but I decided on Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe. I enjoyed the entire Anne of Green Gables series. I read with great eagerness to watch the slow transformation of Anne's disdain for Gilbert until she realized what he meant to her.

Learn the craft from experienced writers. Be open to constructive criticism. Read books to experience different methods of writing. Continually challenge yourself to stretch beyond what you think you can do. I spend time in devotion and prayer before I write.

Within a week, I had two strangers from two different regions in our country (I met them on a trip) encourage me to share my story. Then, I set out to learn the process by reading books on writing, attending writing groups and conferences, and hanging around people who shared a common interest.
