I have a couple of projects in the works. One is about the four seasons in (yep, you guessed it!) Ireland and will include my thoughts and observations, some poetry, and a few recipes obtained from Irish friends. Another is a sequel to Chickens in the Garden, Leaving Ireland.

Living in Ireland was all the inspiration I needed for Chickens in the Garden, Wellies by the Door. Generally, my writing is inspired by whatever is going on around me.

While living in Ireland I kept a blog for non-Facebooker family and friends in the USA. I became friends with a writer from Australia who suggested using the blog posts as a basis for a book would be a good idea. I took that idea and ran with it!
