Hi Wouter!
Sorry for the late reply. Somehow I missed the notification :)
First of all, I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed my short story Frozen Hell. And yeah, you're right, it takes place in a different world from my other books and the vibe is also different. While my Goranian Universe might appeal to Game of Thrones fans, Frozen Hell gives that mythological vibe of John Gwynne's The Shadow of the Gods.
To answer your question: Yes, I'm releasing A Ballad of Vengeance on 2 May 2025. It's the first book in a new series that follows the future (as well as the past) of Aqen and Birna. Hope you enjoy this one as well :)

First of all, I'm so glad you've enjoyed the series, Paul. Thanks a lot for letting me know.
As for your interesting question: the answer is definitely yes! I'm almost done outlining the main plot, and right now, I'm working on the characters' arcs. If my brain gears work smoothly these days, then you may hear an announcement soon.

Definitely, yes. The question is: when? For the time being, my priority is to finish "Bermuda." After that, I might start working on the audiobooks of "Tales of Gorania."

Thanks for your nice words, Lindsey. I'm so glad you've enjoyed Masolon's journey in The Warrior's Path.
The sequels are indeed on Wattpad, but as raw drafts that need so much editing and polishing. Some parts even need to be rewritten from scratch, especially in book 2, so don't say I didn't warn you :)

Where did I come up with idea? That’s a really tough question, Emelia. But I can assure you it has nothing to do with my relationship with my father. Believe me, it’s not that bad :)
I guess it was all about the mood I was in when I started writing the story back in 2013. Imagine yourself living in a city under curfew for a few weeks; quite an ambiance to write in, right?
It took me 9 months to finish the first draft of The Warrior’s Path, but it took me much longer just to consider editing it. Between those random bouts of editing, I finished the drafts of two sequels. For the time being, it’s too early to talk about sequels, but I did already, didn’t I? :)

I am really looking forward to reading you book(s) and pretend sequels were never mentioned ;). I like the morality issue your hero has to deal with.
I am really looking forward to reading you book(s) and pretend sequels were never mentioned ;). I like the morality issue your hero has to deal with. Killing one to save many, especially your own father, is rough on the soul. And a haunted desert...there is a story line I have not read before ! Thank you for your response Karim ! It is going to be hard to wait for the release !
