Jayan Nair I havent started on anything else yet. But I do have a name for the sequel to the book Floating Exception
Jayan Nair I wanted to write a story on an Indian IT professional. The experiences we go through and the ups and downs of a corporate life, captured in a fictional form. As a reader, I mainly read non-fiction but here I wanted to give the message through a story (and not by preaching through a self development book). I want my readers to relate to the protagonist, maybe see a part of themselves in it ... definitely relate to the characters in the book and have fun while reading it. And IT is where I grew up and so there was no lack of ideas.
Jayan Nair I really dont know. It just happens.
Jayan Nair Don't think and analyse too much. Don't spend too much time planning. Just start writing and words will flow. You won't have the entire plot in your mind before writing and it will change as you write. So just jump into it ... just do it.
Jayan Nair Being able to communicate, tell a story and being able to send a message to the readers through a story.
Jayan Nair Take a break, do something completely different and come back. I really didn't have a full-fledged writer's block. But there were times when I was literally at a loss for words.
