I'm motivated by the need to tell these stories in my head. I do feel that there is a great need for action/thriller books in the Christian genre.
Assault on Saint Agnes is both, primarily a thriller if that's what you're looking for, but Christians (and seekers) will see the spiritual elements. As a believer, I hold the Great Commission near to my heart, and this is my way of putting out The Word.

Deep in my deranged mind is probably the best answer.
The truth is, I went to the church to be a part of the Latin Rite Mass a few years back. While sitting in the pew I realized this would be a great target for a terrorist group. Attacks on Christian churches were climbing at the time, and I knew it would simply be a matter of time until it happens here.
The rest, as they say, is history.
