As a medical professional with close ties to the military I guess you could say I began by writing what you know. The girls I worked with in the ER were mesmerized by the Fifty Shades series. I read it with them and could see the appeal. The series left many of the women and a few men looking for what to read next. While working some late nights I began to jot some ideas and they started following the story. This grew and so did the followers into the novel you see today.
