David Clinton My most recent book would be "Teach Yourself Data Analytics in 30 Days: Learn to use Python and Jupyter Notebooks by exploring fun, real-world data projects"
I really wanted to learn for myself how to mine all the data that's flying around. Why shouldn't I get the chance to derive original insights, too? Sure, complex data science would require a formal education lasting years. But the basic tools couldn't be that hard to learn, right?
So I dragged myself up the learning curve and, when I saw how (relatively) simple it was, I figured I'd share the process with the world.
David Clinton My current mischief is centered around my Data Project (https://thedataproject.net). The "Teach Yourself Data Analytics in 30 Days" book you can see here. But there's also a growing set of surveys where you can participate in collecting data that can be useful for everyone.
And there should be more data stories coming...

Boo!
David Clinton I always have lots of tasks of all kinds waiting for my attention. Whenever I'm unable to focus on writing, I simply switch to a completely different task. After an hour or so, I'm ready to return to writing - with a fresh mind.
