I'm reading A Visit from The Goon Squad, among other multiple award winners. It's always good to read people you can learn from - what did they do right that readers and critics enjoyed? There is always more learning to do. I'm also reading The GoldFinch - I know, I'm a little behind in the curve here, but I've heard good things and this book came highly recommended for the beauty of the language and the descriptions. Finally, I'm hoping to pick up Stephen King's Doctor Sleep. I'm interested in finding out where the kid from the Shining ends up.
