Johnny Moscato The idea for The Project came from working as a pharmacist. Somewhere along the line I realized that pharmaceutical companies are not looking for cures. They're only looking for drugs to maintain chronic conditions that have to be taken every day for the rest of your life. No one is trying to cure anything because diseases make more money than cures. The bottom line is always money these days. The "bad guys" in The Project operate with only one purpose- to make money. I created a new country called Adrianna that was founded to truly help society without concern for money. Throughout the book I use fictional examples of what can happen when greed is allowed to go unchecked. Until power is taken away from money, human society is doomed to hindered progress.
Johnny Moscato Sleeping late. In fact, writing helps me sleep. Instead of being kept up all night with story ideas in my head I write them up and clear my head.
Johnny Moscato The only way I've found to deal with writer's block is to wait it out. Ideas can't be forced, not great ideas at least. The block always resolves itself with a major breakthrough that brings the plot to a higher level. After every bout with writer's block I've had I've ended up with a new idea and thankful that I didn't proceed with forced ideas just for the sake of continuing.
