Edward Reed While Badge is a story about a dog and child, it was inspired more by the hardships some children face growing up. But I must say that there is no love love like the love of a dog. Without condition they accept us for what and who we are, no matter what. And as one of the characters in Badge says, "Every house needs a good dog."

Thank you for asking and Merry Christmas,
Edward
Edward Reed Eulogy

Hardly any of my eulogy and only the shredded whispers of stranger's prayers do I hear through the cold cotton and thin satin as I lay in the pitch blackness of my coffin. The organ's music is maniacal, the priest too soft spoken and the echoes of my gnashing and fiendish wailing too loud.

Edward Reed I would like to go to the fictional world created by William Faulkner in As I Lay Dying. Once there I would like to get to know the characters and work my way into the story. I would also like to go to the fictional world created by Cormack McCarthy in The Road, to experience the things his characters experienced. Lastly I would like to go to the world of Isak Dinesen in the Out of Africa and live in the Ngong Hills and see the beauty she describes.
Edward Reed The March by Doctorow and some Civil War History , Lolita, and The Human Stain.
Edward Reed The ghost living with me could inspire the plot of a great mystery.
Edward Reed Good question and not easily answered. There are too many fictional couples from Romeo and Juliet to The Lady and The Tramp to have just one favorite, but here goes. My favorite fictional couple is Rose Sayer and Charlie Allnut from C.S. Forester's The African Queen.
As for why these two are my favorite couple, that is another question with no easy answer. In their unlikely romance which develops between these characters I see the urgency we all have in our lives to find love, the awkward and clumsiness of love once we do find it and ultimately the profound effect it has on our lives. The stellar portrayal of these star crossed lovers by Katherine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart makes it a favorite too.
Edward Reed Ms. Gonzales,

I am delighted by your review and your question. And the answer is, "Yes," I am currently at work on a sequel to The Whipping Boyfriend. Becoming attached to Dora, Jean-Claude, the children and the other characters I too am looking forward to seeing where this romance will lead. I am so happy you enjoyed this story and for sharing your kind words and encouragement. Happy New Years !!!

Sincerely,
Edward

Edward Reed Writer's block? What's that?
Edward Reed The best thing about being a writer is having someone read your work. This is especially good when your reader embrace syour characters and your story. Being able to leave the reader with a smile and a good experience from having shared a little of their time with you is the best thing about being a writer. It is something I cherish.
Edward Reed I have a book "Badge" releasing in April. It is a story of a child and their dog and was written for all ages.

Currently I am have three projects underway. A collection of scary stories for the summer, a Christmas novel I am aiming to have out in November and a love story for early 2017
Edward Reed I am inspired by the ordinary and just how extraordinary it is.
