I was camping with my family and some close friends about eight or nine years ago. Either my father or a friend in our group mentioned reading about the Halifax Explosion. The more I heard about it, the more I thought "Someone should make a movie about this. This could be epic!" Ever since then, the idea festered within my mind, not wanting to leave. So I decided to tell an untold story of a woman who lost everything, a woman who needed redemption, a city that needed rebuilding.

I'm currently working on the sequel novella to "Redeemed From the Ashes." The title is "Ghost of My Heart." On the other hand, I'm also working on the edits for my second stand-alone book "Wisps of Gold."
