Leah Lindeman Write every day even if all you can manage is just ten minutes. Write what you want to write and not what everyone else thinks you should write. Your writing will shine when you've written with a passion, not with a dutiful attitude.

Read good literature, by that I mean the classics. The classics are full of substance and themes that transcend time, unlike most fluffy fiction today. Study the classics, the writing techniques used. You will emulate in your writing the literature you surround yourself with.
Leah Lindeman I was camping with my family and some close friends about eight or nine years ago. Either my father or a friend in our group mentioned reading about the Halifax Explosion. The more I heard about it, the more I thought "Someone should make a movie about this. This could be epic!" Ever since then, the idea festered within my mind, not wanting to leave. So I decided to tell an untold story of a woman who lost everything, a woman who needed redemption, a city that needed rebuilding.
Leah Lindeman I'm currently working on the sequel novella to "Redeemed From the Ashes." The title is "Ghost of My Heart." On the other hand, I'm also working on the edits for my second stand-alone book "Wisps of Gold."
