Everly Bloom I woke up from a dream about Billy and Rose. The plot was different in the dream with a few weird non-sensical details, like in my dream Rose was poor, but had a Bugatti for absolutely no good reason that she drove around with Billy in tow. Nothing like doing 0-60 in less than three seconds while driving to get some dank ass tacos.
Everly Bloom Write something else for a while, or put on my bose quietcomfort headphones with the noise cancellation turned on and set my music to white noise. Then I lay down in a burrito of blankets with my laptop and lucid dream the scene until it makes sense.
Everly Bloom Lots of things. Sometimes I write based on my experiences. Sometimes I write to explore the sliding doors of those experiences. A lot of times my stories start with a dream. My dreams tend to be on the adventurous/romantic side, and I often will wake up not wanting it to end, so I write them down instead and build on that world. Sometimes I write without reference, pick a topic and run with it in a lucid dream and write the narration.
Everly Bloom Pierce My Heart (WildFyre 2) - Pain's story. Expect it around end of May.
Everly Bloom You don't have to be a good writer to tell a good story. This is what gets me through to the end of writing my novels. I don't strive to be the next best literary great. I write books for people like me, who are more concerned with the story and the emotion and the escapism. If my stories gives someone a couple hours to get out of their own head, then I'm happy.
