The moment you put pen to paper, you are a writer. So my advice is to write, write a journal, write down thoughts, a character's name, a scene you can't let go of. Write everyday, no matter how little or how much.

I always seem to have many projects on the go at any one time. But right now, I'm working on Wolfhaven's sequel, and the first book in a new sci-fi romance series called The Dragonus Chronicles. It follows the exploits of Julia "Wings" Swift, a search and rescue chopper pilot, who meets the love of her life when he falls through a space bridge portal and lands on her local beach. Mark Holden, a USAF pilot assigned to the offworld Phoenix Base in an alternate universe, fights aliens and flies bridgegliders with his mind. He's battle weary and has given up hope of finding that special someone. But Mark is hunted by a race of transparent royalty who desire the secret to his ability. What will happen when it is discovered that Julia also possesses the coveted skill?

I was scrolling through Pinterest, pinning possible names for future characters. I discovered that "Connell" means strong wolf, and that "Asena" means mother of wolves, and I thought, "Hmmm...there must be something I can do with that." :)
