Why would a young woman leave a comfortable position in Mexico to move to the U.S. and struggle to support herself and her young son. I think that would make a great novel.

I'm working on a sequel to Waking Up in Medellin. This novel takes Nikki to Mexico to investigate a kidnapping case where she travels to beautiful colonial towns and World Heritage Sites as she follows the kidnappers. The beauty of these sites provides a sharp contrast to the dangers facing her.
