I pretend there is no such thing as writer's block. Honestly, I don't let it worry me, and I don't let not writing be an option. Some days, the words flow fast and easily. Other days, it's hard work doing any words, but I always try to write 2,000 words a day, and if you're used to writing every single day, it does get easier.

My Starlight Stables series was inspired by growing up in town, desperate for a horse of my own. I dreamed of living in the country and riding all day, every day. I eventually did get my own pony, and I vividly recall what it was like being 12yrs old and completely horse mad!
