Erika Behrisch Elce Oooo! I have two big projects: an academic book about nineteenth-century Admiralty administrators - the desk jockeys behind the big expeditions - and a novel about a fictional voyage set in the 1840s. Things go wrong. I can't say more.

Erika Behrisch Elce I got inspired to write Lady Franklin of Russell Square after getting basically buried under the mountain of historical (and fictional) accounts of the men and the ships of the Franklin Expedition.
