M.K. Gibson Hey there, Andrew! (sorry for being late to answer)

First, thanks for reading the Technomancer books! It's always great to hear when people are enjoying them. Now for the bad news: there are no current plans for Flesh and Blood to come to audio. My main narrator has, sadly, passed on continuing the work for these books. I could go with a third narrator, but that is frustrating for listeners. So my current plan is to wait out the remaining contract time, then have them all re-recorded by one consistent narrator. The ebooks and paperback will continue to come out. But I want the audio to be uniform. I know that's not what you wan to hear, but it's the best coarse of action, at this time.

Thanks again for listening!

M.K. Gibson My apologies for not seeing this sooner!!

Sigh. I want there to be a Technomancer book 5 on audio. BUT.... the Technomancer audiobooks (currently) are not making the money to cover the production costs of a 5th book. I've spoken w/the narrator and we're going to look at where we are in the next couple of months. Trust me, if I can find a way to do it, where I don't go into the red to make it happen, I will. I wish I had a better answer for you! But thanks for reaching out and thank you again for enjoying the books I do have! :)
M.K. Gibson Well that would be telling ;-) But I will say that, odd as it may be . . . Salem's MOM makes an appearance. :) Hope you enjoy the book. It isn't as action-adventure as Technomancer, but still solid character work in an urban fantasy world.
M.K. Gibson Hey Cameron! Sorry for the late reply!

I currently have 4 ongoing series and rotate through them. I just finished the first draft of my 4th Villains book, so I've begun the plotting and the outlining process for Technomancer 5! While that's good, it will take several months to write, then edit. So, just hang in there! My plan was to write 7 books in the series. But as I go on, if I feel there needs to be more to tell the story, then that's what I'll do!

Now, if you're interested, my Hammer of Witches books (2 in the series so far), She Dreams of Fire and She Wakes in Water, are technically Technomancer prequels. Do you recall the Chimera character from book 3, Angels and the Bad Man? Well, this is her story pre G-Day. They are free on Kindle Unlimited, so if you need something Technomancer adjacent, then this will help a little :)

Thanks for reaching out and know that I am hard at work on Technomancer 5, Flesh and Blood!

Cheers,

Gibby
M.K. Gibson SHHH! Don't tell everyone,!

HA! No, he's far smoother (and crueler?) than I. But, I guess there's a little Jackson in there. He did come from my brain after all.

But I would like my own dimension. :)
M.K. Gibson in 2008, a buddy once said: Man, I wish someone would write a heaven/hell cyberpunk book with some Lovecraft myths.

M.K. Gibson I try an take inspiration from everything and I mean everything. You ever see Shakespeare in Love? As the movie unfolds, you see and hear so many little things which happen in all of Shakespeare's plays. It's kind of like that, I try and draw from everything around me. People's interactions, a good joke, a sad moment etc.
M.K. Gibson The next 2 books in my Technomancer series, a fantasy/urban fantasy action comedy called Villains Rule and several side projects which are still being outlined
M.K. Gibson Be ready for rejection. A lot of it. I have a wall of framed rejection letters from agents and publishing houses.

Don't be afraid to talk to small presses.

Make friends: that is how it gets done, not by your work. Sounds horrible, I know, but meeting people, online or in person, and getting to know them and their contacts helps more than you know.

Be prepared to write and rewrite everything over.

Get to know query letters and how to format them.

Don't give up!
M.K. Gibson You get to create worlds. Your scenes have unlimited budgets and your characters can do anything in the worlds and rules your create.
M.K. Gibson I write something personal, from my life. I inject a special memory, event, funny anecdote, freaking anything which I have a passionate, vivid memory. It comes across as true to the reader, adds a level of depth to a character or situation and gets the writing going.
