Callum Laing I have been doing Partnerships in all my businesses for years. When you start with no resources, no money, it is really the only way to grow. Today I use the same principles to put together multi-million dollar deals.

I believe we are moving into a time in business where collaboration will out do competition every single time. But you have to understand the principles and the methodologies of partnerships to play a part in that game.

If every business owner understood the value of Partnerships and how to deliver more value then they ask for, the impact on the economy would be huge.

My hope is that I can play a small part in that with this book.
Callum Laing I write to clarify thoughts in my head and to help other people grow their business.
It is very rewarding when someone reads my stuff and tells me how they have applied it grow their business. It always inspires me to think what I have learnt recently that they might also find useful. And then I go write.
Callum Laing I am co-authoring another book, tentatively titled 'Agglomeration' which is how small business owners can 'hack' the the public market system to get big quickly and help successful business owners unlock the value in their businesses.
Callum Laing Get very clear about who you are writing for and what problem you are solving for them. Everything else stems from that.
Callum Laing There are 2 reasons I write.

The first is for me. It helps me clarify and test my thoughts on matters.
The second is for my clients and prospects. If I'm constantly being asked the same question, I can serve people better by directing them to a resource I have written that answers that in depth. "Progressive Partnerships" is the resource to point business owners to who want to grow their business.
Callum Laing I write. Total nonsense if necessary, but the key for me is to just get stuff out and see words flowing.
My first draft of anything is usually rubbish and I know I will have to go back to it to sort out my ideas into a more readable format anyway.
