It doesn't happen very often. Occasionally, the characters will take me somewhere unexpected and I won't know how to resolve their situation. In that case, just stepping away to allow it to fester in my mind usually works. I will come up with the answer at the most unexpected time.

Don't give up and don't let "no" discourage you. I feel like finding an agent or publisher is like a needle in a haystack scenario. You might have to look through every piece of hay to find that needle. But if you stop looking, you guarantee yourself that you'll never find it! Keep searching. The right fit is out there for you. In the meantime, if you love writing, do it for yourself. It's enough!

Currently, I am working on promotions for my upcoming releases. "Wrong Place, Right Time," December 9th. "Accept this Dandelion" Feb 2015. "Mamarazzi" August 2015. I have put new writing projects on hold in lieu of these releases and because of my freelance writing workload.

When I have an idea on my mind, it is hard for me NOT to write. Inspiration can come from another book, a TV show, a conversation I overhear or am a part of in daily life. I never know where it will come from or when it will hit, but I'm always grateful for it when it does!

"Wrong Place, Right Time," which comes out December 9th, was inspired by a class I took at a writing conference. The agent running the class encouraged us to come up with great opening lines for a book. I came up with "Stop the wedding!" which led to the idea for "Wrong Place, Right Time."
