It's not hard. I enjoy writing. I begin writing at around 0530 each day. It's my quiet time. Kind of theraputic I guess. I think a lot about what I'm writing throughout the day. There's seldom an hour of the day that I'm not thinking about a particular character or the overall story arch of what I'm currently working on.

Read a lot. Study your craft. Be disciplined. But know this, once you've got it written the real work begins and that is marketing. Very few people get rich or even make a living writing. Don't go into writing unless you truly enjoy it because it satisfies a need within you.

Generally, this isn't a problem as once I've created my characters they seem to tell the story - seriously. It's like a line of dominoes once a character speaks, those words just seem to give rise to more dialogue, actions and emotions.
