Roo I. MacLeod When my father died my mother and I was sorting through a box of black & white photos and one showed an elegant image of a lady in a blood-red dress. As I reached for the photo my mother pulled it away and stuck it at the bottom of the box. My Aunt had mentioned the lady in red before. The first love of my father's? my Aunt believed. A disgraced woman, not good enough. But why was the photo in the box? And why did my mother go white at its appearance.
Roo I. MacLeod Hi, I appreciate your wish to review, but Frankie & Jimmy is part of a series of short stories I offer in my newsletter. I guess they're a taster for the real novels featuring Izzy and her dead twin, Elliot. The first novel, Loads of Trouble should be published late August and is available to preorder. I don't offer the Izzy Izzard PI stories to the public. One day, when I've got a collection together I'll get them edited, but that day is a while away. And I should be sending another story in my Newsletter next week along with the details regarding Izzy's launch date.
Thanks for the message.

Roo I. MacLeod The Third book in the Heroes series. The second book is with my editor. Ben Jackman, my homeless vigilante is on the run, lost in the East End, being pursued by the Top Hats and seeking aid from the Sewer Rats in his desire to clear his name of murder.
Roo I. MacLeod A dire homeless period in my life found me sheltering from the rain in a church. I gate crashed a funeral with the one mourner and a vicar grateful for company. I obliged and wondered why dead person didn't warrant more mourners. After a couple of drinks with the lady in black, I came up with the germ that sprouted into No More Heroes
