I will relax with some zen music, listening calmly whilst meditating in a quiet, warm spot. Picturing slow moving, soft waterfalls hitting rounded rocks that they have eroded away over time.

99% of what I write starts with a dream I had. When you sleep, your subconscious can come up with some pretty awesome stories for you. Thankfully, I am great at remembering my dreams and using them later on.

Music. Always music. If the next scene is a sad scene, go with sad music. If you are writing an epic chase, swap the music to something epic!
