I was asked by my followers on Twitter to put my tips into one book and that gave me the idea of expanding them to saying why each tip worked. I decided on 50 - well ok, originally it was going to be 52, one for each week of the year with bonus tips for Christmas and New Year - but a friend advised me that no-one would even look at that, so I took 2 tips out and just made it 50. It seemed to work!

I have several poems on the go, as well as a book about the menopause and a novel that needs to be written.

Goodness! What a question! I'm not sure I have any advice at all except to write and write and write.

Writing for me isn't about being the best thing, it's something I feel I have to do. I love words and working with them. I've been reading since I was about 3 years old and can't think what my life might be like without words in it.

I meditate daily and so whenever I feel I can't write I sit and meditate and just relax. I find this really helps me.
