The better question is what am I not reading this summer. My TBR list is a mile long and I seem to have a problem like some women do with shoes.

It wouldn't be a romance by far, but it would be a tragic, maybe coming of age. But it's certainly not a full mystery either.
I would be a story of my family life from summer of 8th grade moving forward. I've actually thought of writing a completely serious book like that, but I'm not sure I have the guts to put it all out there.
A story of a mother who abandoned her children, filled with sisters being split up, emancipation, trust issues, so many lies being unfolded... Oh crap I should stop now - I may have to write this!!!!

I fall for a little of each couple that I read. But I would have to say Alex & Violet from Helena Hunting's Pucked Series. (If I'm being honest, it's all her characters in that series.)
I love the crass and the outrageously hilarious behavior and banter between the two and their friends.
And, if I was doing one more as for non-fictional but kinda... (BB Easton) BB & that MotherF*ckerKen Easton. That relationship is a mirror to my own marriage sometimes that while reading "44 Chapters about 4 Men", I had to remind myself that I didn't write those parts!

I read.
I daydream.
I play with my almost 3 year old.

The feeling of accomplishment once my books are "live" has been pretty awesome.

Don't be afraid to take the leap.
Don't worry about harsh critics, not everyone will like OR understand you.

I am currently in the end stages of edits and revisions for the 3rd and Final Zone Series novel.
In between that, I'm working on a new story, which is still unfolding. Currently, it has no name. The main character is cocky and powerful, almost an alpha book, but not quite.

I feel like I have always been a writer, when I was little I would write short stories and give them to my family members for reading. I then wrote poetry and thought that I was the best poet out there. (i wasn't). Then as I became an adult, I had thousands of ideas but no guts to put them on paper. One morning I woke up and somehow my guts were found!

I started The Friends Zone without an intent to make it a series, but once I was finished, I felt that Max needed his story to become a happy one, because everyone deserves a happy ending, right?
