Right now, I am working on a book called, "Crimson Tassels". It is about a house, where a horrific murder/suicide took place. A trapped spirit works to take over the mind of one of the new occupants in an attempt to free itself from the house it is destined to haunt. Expect to see "Crimson Tassels" sometime this summer, maybe early fall.

I always had an imagination. When I was a child, I had a teacher that encouraged me to let my imagination flow out onto the paper. I also was fortunate enough to have high school and middle school teachers who loved the works of Poe and other authors. They built in me a sense of wonder about the written word.
I was deeply inspired by the works of authors who could take our feelings and toy with them, using nothing but the written word. Words have almost unlimited power. A power I love to wield.

The idea for my most recent book came from a wish I had as a child. I wanted nothing more than to be able to speak to ghosts. I always thought it would be a cool thing to be able to sit down and have a regular conversations. That idea formed a central character and from there I built a story around it. It was great fun to indulge in a childhood fantasy.
