I get outside; I walk, I take the dog out. If I'm stuck on something, using the other side of my brain seems to help --- I've been a guitarist since I was three years old, so when I'm running up against something that doesn't want to be born, I play. Sometimes for hours. I also have a meditation practice that seems to help.
