Write ! Even when you feel you are not making any sense, go ahead and do it because that's what writers do. There is always a first time and unless you start you will never be able to refine your skill. So pick up your pen or switch on that computer and get down to it. The rest will be taken care of, on the way.

You create your own universe. The rains can be as heavy as you wish and the forests as lush as you dream. Writing one good line towards the end of the day is enough to put a smile on your face as you lie down to sleep.

I haven't yet encountered a serious case of writer's block. But if I ever feel that I have reached my wit's end, I stop thinking too hard. A dinner with friends, a lone drive or a nice movie are enough to bring things back on the track real quick. I have never believed in sitting in a dark room to conceive ideas. The only time I close the doors, is when I am actually writing !
