Beth Porter Galapagos by Kurt Vonnegut. I'd volunteer to progress the evolutionary tide in light of more recent 21st century discoveries of the value of complex brains in a pelagic environment - e.g. cetaceans, rays, squid and especially octopuses.
Beth Porter I've been gestating the idea for several decades. The inspiration comes from certain well-known paintings. At last I've had the time to devote to it.
