Janet Hogan Chapman I don't. I can only write when the mood strikes. I read somewhere that authors may often look like they are not writing. Reading, researching, exploring, and thinking through things are all important parts of the writing process for me. Sometimes my best ideas, phrases, or characters come to me when I am not at the keyboard actually writing.
