I just finished the editing and design process on the sequel to Southern Cross, entitled "Back in Slowly", to be released next month. I am almost finished my fourth novel, entitled "Good Time Charlie", set in 1980/81 in Vancouver during the Olson murders.

Once you start writing, and get over the awkwardness that comes with trying on anything new, you find it hard to stop. For me it's an addiction. I have no shortage of ideas, my only problem is finding the time. But some days it's easier to produce than others.

I've travelled a lot in Brazil, and I am actually immigrating there in a couple of months. So the idea for Will Bryant came out of my own situation, a fish out of water, from a law enforcement background, also like me. Driving past the fields outside of Blumenau one night, I thought "What a great place to start a book", and Southern Cross was born.
