My most recent book is a Christmas Novella titled Mistletoe Melodies, available Christmas 2018. The main character was inspired by my niece who was blindsided by a recent medical diagnosis. The secondary character, Janie, was inspired by a young girl I know who overcame tremendous difficulties. It was such a fun book to write, that I plan to continue the characters in a second Christmas novella for Christmas 2019.

While everyone sings familiar carols of Christ drawing near, Melody stumbles over misplaced notes. His preteen daughter suffered a stroke, and they’ve grieved his wife’s sudden death, but the Lord coaxes a surprising refrain from Quentin’s heart as God rewrites his and Melody’s score into a love song.
