I take a walk with my characters. I listen to my character's concerns and almost always come to the conclusion that as a writer I'm forcing my characters down a path that they don't want to go. Once I makeup with them and let them know I'm sorry for my arrogance, we settle on a solution that both of us are excited about. This solution breaks the writer's block and creates a better story.

I love telling stories. I always have. I used to bore my friends by telling them ideas I had over and over again. Hopefully now that I can write my ideas down and publish them, I'll find a few people out there that actually enjoy my random thoughts of craziness. :-)
