I dream. Each night I dream, and I have dreamed hundreds upon hundreds of stories.

I had a dream after meeting a couple at a gun range about 10 months ago. The dream was very vivid and had the shell of what is now Vengeful Son. The rest seemed to flow as I was moving through the book, though I created the outline the details I just saw as I wrote, giving the book life!
The places, with minor exception, I have visited and the ideas on how they interacted came from my imagination. Several of the characters are loosely based on people I have met while all of the weapons used in the book I have experience of some type with. Several random items that are mentioned are from Kickstarter or test items I have used, The more colorful people in the book, Jay, Sam, Jim, Michael, Rachel and Abby are creations out of my mind intertwined with experience.
