I would recommend taking several writing courses. I say several because I’ve attended a lot and they vary in quality. Even if you are an experienced writer, I think there is value in doing this. We can all learn something.

Writing is a job like any other. You have to get on and do the job so I treat is the same as I do with my other work. Just get on with it. If I am really struggling, I’ll go for a walk to clear my head, of do some gardening.
